Jarred enters his second season with the Prospects. He is a high energy player who never takes a day off. Mederos was a member of the 14U USA Baseball team in 2007. Jarred was the starting shortstop as a freshman with a .383 batting average in 6A. He is the son of Victor and Jodi Mederos.
